Texture Pack Up on Unity3d Asset Store

Our first Unity3d texture pack has been accepted, and is now up at http://u3d.as/content/daisypoo-textures/lots-o-grass!

We hope many people find these great grass based ground textures useful in their projects, both free and commercial.  They are 1024x1024, and come with pre-made bumpmapping data and preset materials for ease of use.  Just drag and drop the materials onto an object for a good default look, or tweak the settings to your specifications!  Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments.

We are currently packaging up wood textures, custom made with very detailed wood grains and realistic features, to upload in the next week.  These will be great to use on furniture, wood floors, and the like.  Some examples will be posted soon.

Thanks for taking the time to visit us.

The Beginning

A big hello to all!

This is the first post of what will be a continuing log of Daisypoo Textures and its products.

We are creating textures for use in game projects, as well as in virtual worlds (Second Life, InWorldz, etc.)  We work hard to create high resolution, high quality textures, and our goal is to fill the ever existing need for good textures accessible to indie and hobby game designers for a low price.

One of the 10 textures in the texture pack (minus the Daisypoo Textures watermark, of course)
Some rough grass, including a low level of bumpmapping pre-configured in the texture pack

We have submitted our first texture pack to the Unity3d asset store for those game designers using the Unity3d kit.  We are waiting for the Unity3d team to review the submission.

For now, please feel free to visit our InWorldz store at Brain Circuit Merchant Plaza, Blues Bayou (218, 246, 27)  and see a sample of our textures, as well as some great creations in the Brain Circuit store right outside!
